Mars Hill Baptist Church is a small Southern Baptist Church located about two miles from downtown Hillsborough. We were established in 1834 and has remained on the same plot of land since it was purchased for $20 in the early 1830’s. Through the years Mars Hill has an eventful existence that has spanned almost 200 years. Though we have seen many changes happen in the world we have always had the same mission. We strive to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all the world and make disciples that follow Him, we work to Glorify God in all our actions, minister to those in need. and build up each other up in the faith.
We strive as a church to be a loving family of friends bonded in our faith, in our love for one another, and in our love for God and His Word. Our hope is that you would come and be part of all that God is doing at Mars Hill.
