August Prayer Focus – Pray for our Teachers and Students
School Supply Collection – We will be collecting school supplies for Pathways Elementary through the end of the month. You are welcome to drop off your items in the Cornerstone classroom or give them to a Cornerstone Sunday school class member. Pencils, notebooks, folders, Ziplock baggies, highlighters, erasers, sharpeners, glue sticks, white board markers, kid scissors, Kleenex etc. are always appreciated and will be well used.
Red Box Ministry – We are collecting women’s gloves for our Red Box ministry this year. Specifications: One size fits all. Please remove the tag, paper, etc. and fold together as a pair. Our goal is to collect 50 pairs. A collection box is located in the fellowship hall on the table near the entrance.
Upcoming Events
September 9th – Wednesday Night Meals Begin Again (Wednesday)
It is that time of the year again and we are starting back our Wednesday Night Meals. Meals will begin at 6:00pm, followed by Bible Study and Youth and Children’s Activities at 7:00pm and then choir practice at 7:30pm. All are welcome. We do have a suggested $5 donation for each person to offset the cost of the meal. We will begin a new Bible study on Wednesady entitled Taking Back Time: Biblical Strategies for Overcoming Procrastination. We look forward to seeing everyone on September 9th.

September 15th – Senior Adult Fun and Fellowship (Tuesday)
All are invited to come and join us in a time of fun and fellowship at Golden Corral in Roxboro. More details to follow Bingo. Seniors and non-seniors alike are invited to attend.
